A Quiet Thanksgiving

Well, like most people this year, our plans for Thanksgiving down in Charleston with extended family were halted due to COVID.  We were all bummed, but definitely made the most out of our holiday of just the four of us.  Lillian and Merritt had the whole week off of school, so we were able to relax and not rush to be anywhere.  We went on an amazing hike in the Uwharrie Forest, and Cricket was able to join us!  She easily hiked the 4 mile trail.  The girls and I were able to get the whole house decorated over the break, which made the transition into the Christmas season much less stressful.  We had a semi-traditional Thanksgiving feast but did substitute our turkey with fried chicken!  Everything was delicious.
