The second half of summer was really just the 2 weeks off from swimming-hahahaha! However, we packed the most amazing trip to Africa in this two weeks. We spend time in the Grumeti and Mwiba on safari and the last few days on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. Seeing this part of the world was mind blowing. We saw the great migration, which included Dazzles of Zebras, herds of elephants, packs of hyenas, prides of lions, flocks of a variety of birds, troops of monkeys and baboons, journeys of giraffe and so much more! We also got to spend time with the Bush Men and local Datoga Tribe, which was exceptional. The beaches of Zanzibar were the most beautiful I have ever seen. I hope this wasn’t a once in a lifetime trip, because I know we would jump at a chance to do it all again.
