September has been a busy month for us. Mostly because we added a new member to our family! Meet Cricket! She is a 5 year old retired breeding French bulldog. Her first week started off rough-unbeknownst to us, there was a sinkhole on the perimeter of our fence. Poor Cricket fell in there and was lost for 18 hours! Fortunately, Evan was persistent in his search and found her. Why she did not bark or whimper to let us know her location we will never know. But so happy to find her safe and sound! Since then she has acclimated to our household quickly and well! Cricket is a super sweet dog and she is trying to get a long with Maki (he's a little cautious still but doing just fine).
Lillian and Merritt have had a great first month of school. They are doing well and school has been able to stay open despite Covid!
